At LeaseBites LLC ("LeaseBites," "we," "us," or "our"), we strive to provide a transparent and fair approach to cancellations and refunds for all users of our platform, www.leasebites.com (the "Platform"). This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and modifications are processed for the services offered on our Platform, including those between Space Owners and Truck Owners. By using our Platform, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in this policy.
The LeaseBites Service Fee is a non-refundable fee that is applied to every successful booking on the Platform. This fee covers the operational costs associated with payment processing, customer support, and maintaining the functionality of the Platform. This fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations initiated by either party (Space Owners or Truck Owners), disputes, or modifications.
LeaseBites is a facilitator providing an online platform for Space Owners and Truck Owners to connect and conduct rental transactions. As such, LeaseBites is not a party to the rental agreements between Space Owners and Truck Owners and does not manage or control the rental spaces listed on the Platform. All refund and cancellation policies are set individually by each Space Owner and are enforced according to their terms.
Truck Owners and Space Owners are solely responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the cancellation terms outlined in each Listing before confirming a booking. LeaseBites disclaims any responsibility for the enforcement of these terms beyond providing a mechanism for communication and, where applicable, limited refund processing.
As stated, the LeaseBites Service Fee is non-refundable. This applies to all bookings, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the cancellation or dispute.
Each Space Owner may establish their own refund and cancellation policies for their Listings. These policies may include various terms such as:
If a Space Owner has not specified a refund policy in their Listing, a default non-refundable policy will apply, meaning that Truck Owners will not be entitled to any refund, and the full payment will be retained by the Space Owner.
When a refund is approved under the Space Owner’s policy, LeaseBites will facilitate the payment through our third-party provider (Stripe). Refunds may take 7-10 business days to appear in the Truck Owner’s account, depending on the payment method and bank processing times. LeaseBites disclaims any responsibility for delays or errors caused by third-party payment processors.
Truck Owners can request to cancel a confirmed booking at any time through the Platform. Cancellations initiated by Truck Owners may be subject to the following terms:

When a Space Owner cancels a booking:
The Truck Owner will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable LeaseBites Service Fee. Space Owners may be subject to penalties for repeated cancellations, including suspension or removal of their Listing from the Platform.
LeaseBites reserves the right to cancel a booking at its discretion for the following reasons:
In such cases, LeaseBites will attempt to notify all affected parties and, if applicable, issue refunds in accordance with the Space Owner’s policy. The LeaseBites Service Fee will not be refunded.
All booking modifications, such as changes to dates, times, or usage terms, must be agreed upon by both the Space Owner and the Truck Owner. If a modification affects the rental amount, the Truck Owner may be required to pay additional fees, or the Space Owner may issue a partial refund, depending on the nature of the change.
To request a modification, either party must initiate a request through the Platform or contact LeaseBites support at info@leasebites.com. LeaseBites will facilitate the modification request but does not guarantee that both parties will agree to the proposed changes.
We encourage Truck Owners and Space Owners to resolve disputes directly using the Platform’s messaging system. LeaseBites will not act as a formal arbitrator but may offer guidance and support to facilitate communication between the parties.
If a resolution cannot be reached, either party may escalate the dispute to LeaseBites by contacting our support team at info@leasebites.com. LeaseBites will review the dispute, gather evidence, and attempt to mediate a fair outcome. Our role in this process is limited, and our decisions are non-binding.
LeaseBites disclaims all liability for disputes arising between Users. Users acknowledge that LeaseBites’ role is strictly limited to providing a Platform for communication and that any refunds or cancellations are governed by the Space Owner’s individual policies.
If a Truck Owner does not show up for their scheduled booking without notifying the Space Owner, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued. The Space Owner retains the full payment, and the Truck Owner forfeits their right to the space for the scheduled period.
If a Truck Owner chooses to vacate the space earlier than the agreed period, no refund will be issued for the remaining unused time unless the Space Owner’s policy explicitly allows for such refunds.
If a Space Owner terminates the booking early due to unforeseen circumstances or other valid reasons, the Truck Owner may be entitled to a pro-rated refund based on the remaining period, minus the non-refundable service fee.
